The icon disappears from the notification tray, from the "settings" menu and from the control panel. Now I just realized (after purchasing the SteelSeries XL bluetooth controller and turning on my bluetooth for the first time) that when Windows 10 puts my 2016 M17 R3 to sleep it also messes up my bluetooth, turning it off. I posted a while back because I was having an issue with my overclocking being turned off when my laptop sleeps, apparently there was no good fix for this other than turning off the sleep setting or restarting my laptop each time it goes to sleep.
