They kept trying to grab him while all he was doing was fistpumping in their face. Now with characters that are immune to sync kills, players will have a ball just standing in front of Banshees and hitting them with melee shots.Ģ) WTF Juggernaut?!?!?: Speaking of standing in front of Banshees and hitting them with melee shots… I spent so much time watching this one guy in the match just standing in front of two Banshees. I haven’t had all that much exposure to Reckoning DLC yet – the character I got in my gift pack was the Krogan Warlord, which is perfect because I fucking hate playing as a Krogan. I did pick up a few new weapons, but I haven’t had much time to play a whole lot.Ī few comments I’d like to make about my short experience, which amounted to one and a half games of White/Reaper/Gold last night, plus what I’ve heard going around.ġ) The Reaper Invasion : have a feeling it’s going to be nearly impossible to find Gold matches with anything other than Reapers. In my opinion, there is not a character that handles Cerberus in an easier fashion. I’ve been using my AA more and more in U/U/G games lately, simply because I don’t want to get caught up against Cerberus without my trusty stasis. I’ve become what I like to call a “distance stasis artist” or late, freezing Phantoms that are attacking other teammates from across the map. The Asari Adept is very often the MVP of a team facing Cerberus, often saving teammates from sync kills before the Phantom can finish them off. And if the Phantom isn’t dead, stasis holds her in place to finish her off. I’ve gotten the timing down perfect now where I’ll stasis the Phantom, take two or three headshots – just under the stasis damage threshhold, so she stays primed – and hitting it with a throw detonation. There is no better feeling that spotting an approaching Phantom, reaching out your hand, and simply saying “stop.” It really makes taking out Phantoms a piece of cake. It allows the AA to absolutely dominate against Cerberus by neutralizing one of the most powerful enemies in the game. I can also keep Husks/Abomnations from rushing me and interrupting me during node objectives, and make Guardians lose their riot shields without needing pull. I can’t count the times I’ve frozen a Geth Hunter who has gotten the jump on me, or stopped a Collector Captain in the middle of emptying a clip. It can get me out of a jam in so many ways. But recently, my favorite skill of the AA has been the stasis bubble.

She does so many things well – biotic explosions galore, quick on her feet, and small frame behind cover.

Much like my single player Shepard, I have fallen in love with the Asari Adept.
